Experience Martial Arts

A Social Network for Martial Artists!

I am going through a bit of a financial crisis right now. My instructor knowing this is being kind enough to train me for free. Any time I have a question or need help he still never hesitates to give me the one on one time. I would like to make some sort of gesture or offer a small gift to show my appreciation. Any suggestions on how this can be done without appearing to be "cheesey"?

Often books can be a great way to show your appreciation. Take some time and discuss martial based literature with him and see if there are any books he doesn't currently have, but would like to add to his library. If he is a "Traditionalist" almost any gift offered from the heart representing YOUR commitment and loyalty to him as your teacher will be appreciated.
Give him a gift that is martial arts based, that will symbolise your relationship as athletes with a common goal.
